After being unavailable on recent operating systems for some time, ScatterMaker has been completely rebuilt with a modern internal architecture and a redesigned user interface. It now supports the latest versions of macOS and iPadOS.

You can now specify shuffle settings for each album.
Some albums, such as best-of albums, have no connection between songs, and in the case of multiple discs combined into one album, you may want to listen to each disc separately.
A version that supports such detailed settings has been revived.
When using in conjunction with PlayingAlbums for iOS, both must be version 3.1 or higher.
The application does not include any songs or other content. You must first create a playlist by importing from a CD or using a subscription service like Apple Music.

Performance has been improved, and analysis time has been reduced.
Memory usage has been minimized as much as possible.
Improved stability. In particular, reduced instances of unstable behavior on macOS.
The structure of saved data has been revised. As a result, once you update to the new version, you will no longer be able to sync data between devices using the old version.
On macOS, when you try to import albums or songs from Apple Music into a playlist, they are added only to the library and not to the playlist. This issue occurs only on macOS; on iPad and iPhone, the import works normally.

Thank you for your waiting. PlayingAlbums will be updated. It will improve accuracy in synchronizing playlists and the next song to be played between owned devices. It will implement a mode of playing within the application without using the system standard music (information is not shared with the system), which was requested by users. It has new interfaces.
Sorry. The macOS and iPad versions, which allow for album-specific settings, are currently under development and cannot be updated at this time. Information set in previous versions will continue to be available as long as the data has not been deleted, for example by using iCloud. Please wait.
