When I get on a plane, I ask the attendant to allocate me an aisle seat,
because I want to get up and go to the toilet whenever I like. Especially,
on a flight of 10 hours or more, I put the practical side above a beautiful
view of sky from a window seat.
The flight from Seattle to Las Vegas is only a few hours, so I had thought
that I could take a seat by the window.
However, the allocation system seemed to have broke‚Ž down, so they couldnft
allocate any seats. Even when we checked in, we didn't know where our seats
would be! The attendant said that we would be given the seats when we got
to the check in gate, D8. However, when we went to D8, another attendant
said, gI'm sorry, but we havenft allocated the seats yet. Ifll call
you again in twenty minutes, so please wait a little more. h Finally,
she called us, but she gave a seat number to my cousin only and said, gOh,
you are two. Ifm sorry. Would you wait for a while?h Therefore, firstly,
my cousin boarded the plane. I had to continue waiting.
I became very anxious. I was worried about my seat, but the proverb, gSaving
the best for lasth seemed to be true. Finally, I was given a window seat.
How lucky!!
I had thought that we could see the view only when we took off and landed.
However, I could see the beautiful view from the window throughout the
flight probably because the flight's attitude was low, and there werenft
so many clouds. Actually, I had been very sleepy because of a jet lag before
getting on the plane, but I became wide awake because I could see such
amazing views.

@We could see many small clouds drifting under the plane. It was such a pleased sight. |
