Akimiya
is

along
the
riverside
of
Higashimatagawa
(seen
on
the
left)
The 3rd

Akimiya
goes
in
the
woods.
Some
are
riding
on,
some
are
using
Teko,
the
lever,
others
cheer
with
Kiyari-song.
Kiyari-singers
cheer
up
with
their
high
tension.
Young
and
Old
gather
together
pulling
their
ropes
in
co-operation.
The
main
rope
is
over
200meters.
Look

the

Shimosya
Yamadashi
within
good
weather

day. The 4th

Akimiya, The 1st

Harumiya,

of Akimiya,
and
the
last
and
the
biggest
1st
of
Akimiya
go
on
the second
day.
The
order
and
the
responsible
region
is
decided
every
time
in Shimosha
system.
All
the
traffics
are
stopped
during
the
festival,
so
people
have
to
go
to
Tanakoba
on
foot. It
is
7
kilometers'
walk,
and
about 350 meter
up.
Young
generation who
are
living
outside
of
Suwa
area,
are
willing
to
come
back
to
their
native
town
to enjoy
Onbashira
every
6
years.
