Maemiya is now at the height of rejoice. Youngsters riding on
the 'Medoeko' are bending their flags. 'Medoeko' is the long
colorful decoration stem set on
the sacred log.@@ Kiyari-singers and trumpet troops gathers here to cheer up the
atmosphere.
Keep safe The 1st of Honmiya is controlled by those who are holding ropes.
Spectators JR train is passing slowly near
Kiotoshisaka.
Passengers from the windows are also anxious about the huge log.
Snow-Flake Snow in
April is not so unusual. But snow made the sight wrong and
temperature went down to under zero centigrade. The 4th of Honmiya is fighting against
snow.
We could hardly see what is going on the Medoeko . Apr. 4, 2004.
Slide down The last of the 8 Onbashira, 4th of
Maemiya went down the slope very quickly,
because of wet, dumpy and muddy ground condition.
Kamisha
Kiotoshisaka is a cozy triangle surrounded by JR line, Kamikawa river,
and Miyagawa primary school. The small mountain which height is about 10
meter and 40 meter long. The slope has the angle about 25degree. Kiotoshi of
Kamisha is much colorful and gay to compare with that of Shimosha.
Because when you see the huge logs of Kamisha, they have 'Medoeko' on them.
'Medoeko' is full of youngsters on.@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
It reminds me Oiran who wears beautiful decorations on her hair.
