イギリス出身の二人組。
Henry BinnsとSam Hardakerは小さな頃からの幼なじみ。
二人は、レコーディングスタジオで働くかたわら、
クラブなどでDJをするようになる。
そんな裏方さんだった彼らに注目が集まったのは
Radioheadのシングル"Climbing Up the Walls"のリミックスを
手掛けたことに始まる。これで評価された二人は
1999年、『EP』を発表。テクノとかクラブ・サウンドというよりも
心地良いアシッド・ジャズやチルアウト・ミュージックとして
素晴らしい出来映え。
1stフルアルバム『Simple Things』でも、Sophie Bakerなど
良いシンガーを起用し、マッタリとしつつも凛とした存在感を持つ
不思議な音の世界を築き上げている。
