1977年ニューヨーク生まれ。
1996年、『Tidal』でデビューすると、"Criminal"のビデオが
MTVでヘヴィーローテーション入りし、一躍注目を浴びる。
映画監督のポール・トーマス・アンダーソンと付き合うようになってから
精神的にも安定してきたようで、2ndアルバム『When the Pawn…』は
彼女自身から湧き出る愛が満ち溢れている。
2005年、レコード会社のリリース拒否騒動を経て
ようやく新作『Extraordinary Machine』がリリースされ、
本格活動が再開された。待ちに待ったよ！ |
