Panel set "The A-bomb and Humanity" - beyond the seas

Panel set "The A-bomb and Humanity" produced by Hidankyo is going to be exhibited in different places over the world.

On Nov. 27, 1997, Mr. John Steinbach and Ms. Louise Franklin=Ramirez, peace activists in Washington DC, visited Hidankyo Office, where some Hidankyo members presented the Panel set to them.

The couple has hosted Hidankyo delegation for years and well-coordinated those tours to make the real picture of A-bombing known in the USA. They appreciated the present and told a plan to hold the Panel exhibition at the Martin Luther King Library in coming July.

The Panel set was also sent to Mayor of Albuquerque, southern part of USA.

The Panel set has been translated into Russian and Italian besides English with financial support of Co-op Hiroshima. Co-op Hiroshima has been continuing to make efforts to send the Panel sets to Co-op in different areas of the world. As of now, Co-op Hiroshima has sent the Panel sets to Co-op in UK and Russia and will send Co-op in Italy. Co-op Hiroshima also considers to send China and Korea.
