Trip of the sacred  logs of small shrine in Suwa District

乵 Akiho Shrine in Hara vil. 乶

A sacred log went on country side

Buckwheat flowers仾丂丂丂丂Along the rice field伀
At small hill, village people enjoyed "Kiotoshi" sliding down a huge log.  

After a half day trip a sacred log is standing up vertically with children in front of shrine.伀

乵 Kurumayama shrine 乶

A sacred log called Onbashira is drawn up to the top of mountain 1925m high.

A sacred log was going up along rough mountain path.仾
People cried out powerfully "Yoitekosho!", so God gave them power.仾
丂丂丂The shrine neighboring radar dome is in sight, tourist grope cheer Onbasira. staff仾
伀  6m long Onbashira stood up by drawing lope.  丂

乵 Tateshina Suwa shrine 乶
Oct. 06,2010.
Supporter of this shrine live in the lake and hot spring, sight seeing, health resort area.  
At beginning of Onbashira festival, Shintou ritual held upon the lake Tateshina.  仾
伀  The sacred log went around the lake side.


Mother grope play old style dance, and children cheer them. 仾
伀  Drawer of Onbashira are shrine supporter and tourist.


Children sing a "Kiyari song", then Onbashira start to go head. 仾
伀Standing up the sacred log, people shout "Yoisa ! Yoisa!" cheerfully in the forest of shrine.丂

Komiya means local small shrine which is related with  Suwa Grand Shrine. 
So the local Onbashira festival is Komiya festival. Almost Komiya festival  were held
in the same year of the Onbashira festival of Suwa Grand Shrine. The visitor center 
said there are more than 100 small shrine in Suwa area, Okaya, Suwa, Chino, Shimosuwa, 
Fujimi and Hara district.   But there are uncountable number of Onbashira events in 
this year, 2010.
