Mersey Ferries

In Liverpool, you can take a cruise on the River Mersey.
I like the sea and rivers very much, so soon I thought how fantastic it would be to sail along the River Mersey while we were in Liverpool as there is the ferry system. However, my friend said, "It's a windy today. Therefore, the ferry may roll and the cruise will be unconfortable. Moreover, the weather isn't fine. I don't want to get on the ferry" Still, I want to!! Thus, I decided to get on the ferry while my friend viewed the Tate Liverpool.
I'll show you some scenery from the ferry on this page. It was cloudy and seemed to be cold, but you can sense and feel the atmosphere of Liverpool from these pictures, can't you?

At Pier Head, I got on the ferry at 11 o'clock.

That day as I have said, it was cloudy and windy, so it was cold. Most of the passengers remained on their seats, while I was moving around the ferry from right to left although the wind was strong. Now I think that I was tough!
When I was on the ferry, buildings which had been far away a short while ago were now approaching us. The scenery on the right was quite different from that of the scenery on the left. Moreover, the scenery to the front and rear was different also. The ferrry had two decks, so I moved from the second deck down to the first deck. Anyhow, I was busy! Ha ha ha!!
Thirty minutes after riding on the ferry, it stoped. "Has the cruise already finished?" I got off the ferry, but I thought that the scenery was different from when I got on it. I asked to the crew,"
Excuse me, but is this place the sarting point?". He answered, "No, there are two more stops." Wow! I rushed back to the ferry. Whew!

Now, the ferry is approaching to Pier Head!

We arrived at Pier Head, the starting point, five minutes before noon.
It was cold, but I had really enjoyed the cruise. I was extremely satisfied. I would recommend you take the short trip if you have the time.
