1. I run into a showcase at Rockefeller Center. There are many classic cars. Later, I find an article about this issue in The New York Times May 19 edition. This is the Christie's Collectors' Car Exhibition and Auction. Finally I got it! "Christie's" is an organization which holds auctions. Its Web site is here. |

3. All these cars are very expensive, aren't they? I wonder how much the amount all of them is... Well, according to The New York Times, a 1936 Rolls-Royce Phantom III will be sold around $80,000 to $120,000. Wow! |

May 19, 2002 --- Astoria Spring Festival in Ditmars | |

1. What a beautiful day today! As I am at near Twin Donut having a morning coffee, my apartment super comes in by chance and tells about a street festival in Ditmars today. Wow. I like a street festival, and haven't seen it during winter. I'm excited to see it! Ditmars is in Astoria, Queens, the last stop of Subway N train. |

2. Ha, ha, ha! This is the first one I laugh today. What's this? And when I look at them carefully, there are some meaningful figures... But, if these are something spiritual figures, I'm sorry I laugh. |

May 27, 2002 --- Broadway Astoria Festival | |
1. Even though I knew that there would be a street festival on this Broadway today, I'm so surprised that a swing ride is on the street! Phew!! This Broadway is not the one in Manhattan. It's in Astoria, Queens as well as Ditmars. |

2. There are more atractions here. Do you see that the right above one is a merry-go-round?! So good. If I were a kid, I would be delighted at playing here. You are lucky, kids. |

1. At the same day, another street festival is going on Madison Avenue. This is in midtown in Manhattan, between 42nd St. and 57th St. |
