=====================
How to install WiSP32
=====================

1. Make 'wisp' subdirectory such as C:/wisp

2. Copy 'wisp32.zip' into C:/wisp and extract them.

      Note : The WISP32xx.EXE file is the current format and is
             self extracting. Current version is now WiSP3215.

             http://www.amsat.org/amsat/ftp/software/win32/wisp/
             ftp://ftp.amsat.org/amsat/software/win32/wisp/

3. Move into another directory the next two files.

             bwcc.dll  -->  C:/Windows/System
             wisp.hlp  -->  C:/Windows

      Note : No need to do this. The Install program will move
             necessary files to the correct directory.

4.  Run 'setup.exe' on Windows95.

5.  Setup in 'WiSP Setup'.

    (1) WiSP Directory : C:/wisp
    (2) Check 'I want to register'.
    (3) Input your Callsign.
    (4) Input your Registration Number.
    (5) Click 'Yes' button each the popup messages.

6. Exit Windows95 and add the next words in 'autoexec.bat'.

             set tz=jst-9
             share /f:4096 /l:75
             path = c:\wisp

    And run again 'gsc.exe'.

    You don't need to write these last two line commands in
    'autoexec.bat'. But you must write in 'tz=est+5 ' if you
    live in N.Y.

    Japan Standard Time (JST) is 9 hours fast from UTC(GMT),
    so 'tz=jst-9'. Eastern Standard Time (EST) is 5 hours
    slow from UTC(GMT) ?

      Note : The above is not required with WiSP32. WiSP32 takes
             the time zone from the Windows Time Zone setting, not
             the TZ parameter. Share is nor required and the path
             is automatically set in the Setup program.

7. In the popup 'WiSP Unregistered Copy', input again your
    Registration Number and click 'Register'.
    After the next run, it is not shown this message.

o Shut down Wisp
o Rename the Wisp.kep file to something else (just in case)
o Restart Wisp.
o For each satellite which was previously scheduled, you will get an error
  "GSC cannot find satellite xx-xx in the keplarian database....".
  OK each message.
o Re-import the keps (Database -> Update Satellite Database)
o Shutdown Wisp
o Restart Wisp
o Tracking -> Redo Schedule

JE9PEL wrote How to reset WiSP.KEP:

1. Delete 'C:\wisp\WiSP Schedule.DAT' and 'C:\wisp\WiSP.KEP'
2. Run GSC.EXE
3. Then you will get an error message:
   'GSC cannot find satellite ... in the keplerrian database'
