Difference between "Moorish idol and Pennant bannerfish"
I investigated a similar tropical fish "Moorish idol and Pennant bannerfish" that inhabits
Kabira Bay in Ishigaki Island. At first, when I saw both in the sea, I didn't notice the
difference. As a result of investigating as follows, I understood the difference well.
Moorish idol
Scientific name: Zanclus cornutus
Features: The tail fin is black.
The base of the mouth is yellow with
a black border. The lips is black.
Pennant bannerfish
Scientific name: Heniochus chrysostomus
Features: The tail fin is transparent.
The lips is yellow.

House Gecko without a tail, Observation report
Every night, some white geckos appear in the window. (I wrote one year ago, 30 April 2020)
I think they come to eat the insects that gather in bright window after observing carefully.
Since they are very timid nocturnal reptiles, they run away immediately when I point the
camera. The creatures similar to these are the newt amphibian. The Okinawan geckos scream
with a squeaky voice like "kyu kyu kyu". This is a cry peculiar to Okinawa's House Gecko.
30 April 2020
Even now (May 2021) they come here every day. Recently, there is one gecko without a tail.
I wonder if it was the scar of a fight with a similar species or a fight with a large moth.
I captured the way the tail grows naturally every day, so I will report continuously it here.
It is surprisingly quick to regenerate, and the prototype is completed in about 10 days.
