東京都美術館にて日本書道研究会主催「書心展」に於いて、全日本書道連盟賞他数々の賞を授賞する。日本書道研究会鑑査を経て2005年金蘭書道会会員となり、２００６年、２００７年東京都美術館にて金蘭書道会主催の「金蘭書展」に於いて金蘭賞を授賞する。４０年近く書に親しみ研磨を積み、常に書を生活の中に活かせないかと試行錯誤し、２０００年表装の技術に出会い、書と表装の調和の美を追求し,現在はフリーとして書装アーティストを目指して書道教室とインテリア書装教室を主宰し活躍中。

書道の鍛錬の傍ら、外資系企業の秘書として女性の社会進出の先駆けとなった。

  １９８０年　　　６月　　　逕舟（けいしゅう）の雅号を授かる。

• Haruko Miyakawa was born in 1946 in Shiokawa, Kitakata-city, Fukushima Pref. and started learning calligraphy at 9 years of age, continuing for 6 years in school and returned to her calligraphy studies at age 30 under Prof. Kinkei Inoue and continues for 27 years and she left the Nihon Shodo Kenkyukai (The Japan Calligraphy Institute) in March 2005 and she joined Kinran Shodokai (The Kinran Calligraphy Institute) from April 2005. The "Keishu"calligrapher name was given by her professor. She was awarded the All Japan Calligraphy Union's Prize, Chairman's Prize and Advisor's Prize among many others and served as an examiner at the Nihon Shodo Kenkyukai (The Japan Calligraphy Institute.). And also she was awarded the Kinran Prize at the Kinran Calligraphy Exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in February 2006 and 2007. She met the traditional technique of scroll mounting under Mr. Kashu Yabuta, Chairman of the Japan Scroll Mounting Institute at the Tobu Culture School in 2000 and is investigating the beauty of harmony between calligraphy and clothes in a mounting. And she is also aiming "Good use calligraphy art in the daily life" as a free Shoso Artist. Additionally, she also studied Tenkoku (stone seal carving) under Prof. Yuseki Machida.

　　

Graduated from Aizu Girls High School in Aizu-Wakamatsu, Fukushima Pref. in March 1965 and took Secretarial college Course of Yokohama Business Academy in Yokohama, Kanagawa Pref., and studied typing, book keeping, English dictation and business English etc. by American method for two years.

Worked for Revlon Cosmetic Co., Ltd. as a secretary to Beauty Planning Manager from April 1967 thru March 1970, got married March 1969, concentrated on the care of my three daughters. After 11 years, started working again at Yomiuri Newspaper Co., Ltd. as a part-time reporter (Interviewed high school and Junior high school English teachers regarding how to develop student interest in English class for a special issue of the Daily Yomiuri Newspaper.) from April 1981 for six months, Suntory Co., Ltd. as a part-time field marketing assistant from October 1981 thru March 1986, Garrett Turbo Co., Ltd. as a marketing assistant (assisted in development of a Japanese auto industry database with a focus on engine data for turbo chargers etc.) to Marketing Manager from July 1986 thru July 1988, U.S. Automotive Parts Industry Japan Office as an administrative assistant (assisted to Director of Japan Office, translated both documents as well as articles for the Japan Automotive Insight - Monthly News Letter and so on from August 1988 thru January 1994., TRW Overseas Inc. as a senior secretary to Executive Managing Director (assisted to Excecutive Managing Director and Read and clipped English and Japanese Newspaper articles regarding aerospace, defense & information systems etc.) from March 1994 thru January 2000.
