ヴァィオリン協奏曲ト調を含む手書きの数曲の作品が、イギリスとアメリカで個人所有になっている。ハーシェルは、バースのオクタゴン教会のために、相当数の聖歌そのほかの宗教音楽を作ったとされている。そのうち幾つかは、上記の“声楽”に合まれている可能性があるが、大部分は、失われてしまった。
