Naoaki Ishida: CEO
Naoaki Ishida (BA, Economics, Keio University 1969; Advanced Management
Program at Harvard Business School, 1992) has expertise in international
finance.
Prior to establishing the company, Mr. Ishida worked for Konomi Inc. as
Executive Vice President for more than 7 years, after working at CSK Corporation
as Executive General Manager of the Finance and Accounting Division, for
6 months.
However, his international finance expertise, was accumulated during his
tenure with The Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan.
He started his international finance career when LTCB loaned him to Manufacturers
Hanover Trust in Tokyo as a credit officer in 1973. After returning the
LTCB, he looked after trade finance and structured shipping finance. Then
he was transferred to LTCB’s New York Branch to assume responsibility for
Japanese relationships.
When he returned from New York in 1982, he became a member to set up a
credit section for non-Japanese. After being responsible for special finance
credit, including asset-backed finance and leveraged buyout finance, he
was in 1990 transferred to the Americas Division in New York to head the
North American Credit. After he returned to Japan, became General Manager
of International Credit, responsible for the Non-Japanese credit portfolio.
He was appointed an Associate Director in 1996.
From June 2009, he joined Striders Corporation as a boaed member, which
is listed on JASDAQ, and left in March 2018.
He has co-authored 2 books: “Risk and Internal Control”, Ginkou Kenshuusha,
Co-authored with officers from MOF and other banks; and “Latin American
Privatization”, Nippon Hyouronsha, Co-authored with professors from Tsukuba
University, Sophia University and Tukuba International University, as well
as LTCB Research people.
