Deanna Troi: | カウンセラー(テレパスで、ライカーの元恋人) |
Tasha Yar: | セキュリティー・チーフ |
Worf: | セキュリティー、副チーフ(後のシーズンで主任になります) |
Wesly Crusher: | ドクター・クラッシャーの息子。エンジニアリングに関しては天才か |
Edo: | 惑星住民 |
EM1: | Watch! I bet you can't do this. |
We: | Watch this. |
EF1: | I wanna do something too, with you. |
We: | Uh, what? |
EF1: | It's something you can teach me. Will you? |
We: | Ah, well, actually there are some games I don't quite know yet. |
EF1: | It's playing ball. Will you teach me? |
We: |
Oh, sure. If you have a bat for the ball, I can try my favorite. A bat? A stick or a branch. Um about this long, this thick. |
EF1: | We can get it in the gardens. Come on! |
EM1: | This will please you. Join us. |
R: | Thanks, another time. |
EF1: | Joy and happiness. |
R: | It certainly is. The good life, Worf? |
Wo: | I am not concerned with pleasure, Commander. I am a warrior. |
R: | Even Klingons need love now ????????? |
Wo: | For what I consider love, sir, I need a Klingon woman. |
R: | What about playing all basic sex. You must have some need for that. |
Wo: | Of course. But with the femails available to me, sir, earth femails-- I must restrain myself too much. They are quite fragil, sir. |
R: | Worf, if anyone else had said that, I'd suspect he was blagging. |
Wo: | Blagging, sir? |
R: | I think I'll pass on that. I'd better check in. Enterprise, come in. Captain, do you read me? Let's... This may be nothing, but let's move all our people together. |
Wo: | Including Wesley, the boy? He is outside. |
De: | Is there a problem? |
R: | We've lost contact with our ship. |
De: | But it's nothing these people have done. I'm certain of that. Their minds are so open. |
R: | Help me locate Wes. He's wandered off. |
Ta: | That is extraordinary. |
Wo: | May I take a moment of your time, Lieutenant? |
Ta: | Yes, Worf, but you've got to hear this. Are you telling me that there's no crime here whatsoever? No one breaks any laws? |
EM1: | Once they did. Long, long ago there was much disorder. But not now. |
Ta: | But I've seen no sign of of police. Those who enforce laws. |
EF1: | Oh, we have very few. They are called mediators. And they are needed only in one place each day. |
EM1: | The punishment zone. An area that's selected for a period of time. |
Ta: | It's a completely random selection? |
EM1: | No one but our mediators know what place or for how long. We are very proud of the wisdom of our ancestors. No person ever knows where or when a zone will be. |
EF1: | And so no one risks death. |
Wo: | Death? |
EF1: | By breaking any law. |
Ta: | Wait. Explain this. |
EM1: | Only one punishment for any crime. |
Wo: | Anyone who commits any crime in the punishment zone dies? |
EM1: | The law is the law. Our peace is built on that. |
Ta: | Even a small thing such as ignoring the rule "Keep off the grass"? |
EF1: | Well then no one breaks that rule. Who wants to risk the execution? And there's always a white wall or fence to remind anyone of a forbidden area like that? |
Ta: | And just who tells vistors about these rules? |
Wo: | We better find Wesley. |
