P: I've diverted the reserved power down here to the family decks. They'll last longest. Is there anything else we can do, Doctor? Where's Wesley?
Cr: He's in our quaters. I was tempted to give him a sedative.
P: You shouldn't.

P: Yes, he has the right to meet death awake.

Ta: Already set. What's going on?
Le: What is this?
Da: I believe we can deduce that these Crystalline tree-shapes are actually energy collectors.
R: Along the same principle as that which is draining energy from our ships.
Ge: But the Ferengi whips were working when we first arrived.
Ta: Which means something new has happened.
Ge: I'm finally beginning to understand what my eyes have been showing me. It's patterns of force everywhere. This entire planet has been turning to, ah, a power accumulator.
R: And these?
Ge: It's a hole point of this place I can see the planet's power emanating from.....Commander.
Po: Be you barbarians? Speak! Who meets the challenge? Who will it be?

Po: You have awakened Portal six-three. Do you petition to enter the Empire?

Da: I'm afraid not. According to the Tkon use of the galactic motionary star time charts, after Bastu came Cimi, Xora, Makto...
Po: Enough! Absurdities.
R: You must've been asleep, Portal, for hundres of thousands of our years.
Le: Ha...deception is the way of the human. We, Ferengi, we will gladly make a petition.
R: We invite your petition.
Po: Speak!
Le: We wish to offer our services to serve the Tkon Empire at no profit. Return control of our starship to us. And we will happily destroy the human criminals and their vessel which attacked us without provocation. They came to loot your empire. But we intercepted them.
Po: You are accused of deceit and trickery. Do you give yourself up for judgement?
R: Yes. If you believe these accusations, then you certainly should act on them.
Le: And there is even more. We can prove that the humans are destroyers of legal commerce, and that they selfishly withhold vital technology from backward worlds.
Ka: And necesarry defensive weapons, too. We Ferengi, are now challenge this human madness.
R: I admit we withheld modern technologies from some worlds.
Mo: You see? They are demented. Their values are insane. You cannot believe this business opportunities they have destroyed.
Le: Proof of their barbarism! They adorn themselves with gold. A despicable use of the valuable metal. And they shamelessly clothe their females.
Mo: Inviting others to unclothe them. The very depth of perversion.
Ta: Paws off, Ferengi.
Mo: No female human or Ferengi can order Mordoc around. Submit!
Ta: Just try it, shorty!
R: At ease, Lieutenant. And we still have more faults.
Da: They should add that Starfleet has permitted several civilizations to fall. We have at times allowed the strong and violent to overcome the weak.
Le: They admit their crimes. Hear them. They admit the evil that they do.
Po: Barbarian.
Le: Yes, you show wisdom.
