Introduction

KsDatebook is a replacement for built-in Datebook of Palm OS . While keeping
basic appearance and operation of built-in Datebook, it is little bit convenient
as it has additional features such as Weekly view with text (WeekList view)
as well as text display in Monthly view. Since KsDatebook uses the same
database as built-in Datebook, you can still use the data that already
exists, while the data inputted through KsDatebook can be shown/editable
in Palm Desktop on your PC by HotSync.

Installation
Please download from here.
Then extract KsDatebook_enEN.prc from the downloaded file and install it
by HotSync (as same as other Palm applications).
I recommend reading through attached readme.txt and navigator.txt.
If you have already installed an older version of KsDatebook, you can just
install the updated version over it. Your setting will be succeeded.
*Caution: I strongly recommend backup all the data before installation,
in case of unexpected accidents. Some errors have been reported in NR70V/60
in a certain operation. You can find details in attached readme.txt.
Operation and settings
Launch KsDatebook by tapping its icon from a launcher.
For the most part, KsDatebook maintains the same operation as built-in
Datebook. You can change views by tapping the view icons at the bottom
left.
If you tap again the icon corresponding to the current view, you will jump
to todayfs date.
Jog dial/wheel of CLIE also behaves the same way as built-in Datebook.
In addition, KsDatebook supports gturn while pushingh operation. You can
also forward/backword by weeks/ months with normal jog turn, depending on
your setting.
You can hide event items from either 2-week mode in WeekList view or Monthly
view, by putting a space before event items, that feature is also found
in Date@Glance.
It supports gUndated eventsh. If you add g[~]h at the head of events (or set it in the gDetailsh dialog), events can be automatically sent forwards day by day until it is completed (similar as gfloating eventsh in DateBK3/4/5). Setting of either Undated events or their completion status can be defined in the gDetailsh dialog of Day view. If you have installed either gKurikoh or gKuriko hackh by Dr. Genmai Hirata, Digital Studio NAGAYAAyou can directly change guncompletedh/ gcompletedh status in Day
view, without opening gDetailsh dialog.
As an input assistance of template events, gTeikei DAh by quni can be integrated. If teikei DA has been installed, additional command
of gInput from templateh is shown in the Day view, that bring up Teikei
DA. It is very convenient if you frequently input a same event.
*You need to use Ver 1.0.4 or later of Teikei DA.
It has supported gtspatchh by Mr. Imazeki. In addition to built-in four fonts, you can use total six fonts including
small and small bold fonts in Day view, attached Note, and Agenda view,
if you have OS5 Tungsten, Zire, and CLIE.
It also has supported gSelect Fonth by Mr. Takumi. You can use as much as eight fonts with gSelect Fonth in Day view,
attached Note, and Agenda view. If you have installed both gtspatchh
and Select Fonth, gSelect Fonth dialog comes before gtspatchh. You
can find further information of gSelect Fonth here.
@
It can define the default duration of an event in gSet Timeh dialog.
If you use the devices without 5way Navigator, you can still simulate 5Way Navigator using hard buttons by checking gsimulate Navigatorh in Misc options dialog.
If you use a center jog dial of CLIE TJ25 or later, it behaves the same
way as 5Way Navigator.
It has also supported the operations either by arrow keys on keyboard devices,
such as CLIE UX50, analog controller/ action buttons of Zodiac, or 5Way
Navigator of Treo600.
If you use with gKeyQuickh by Mr. Imazeki, it may behave as unexpected way.
In such a case, try the following setting in gKeyQuickh.
Select gUISettingh in KeyQuick menu, and set gOK of the
dialog by Enterh to other than Alert.
@In addition, point KsDatebook as a application of gFunction suspendsh.
The function of gsimulate Navigatorh is only effective if you donft use with other Hacks or DAs that expand the function of hard buttons. It will behave unexpected way with these Hacks or DAs.
Majority of settings in KsDatebook are the same as built-in Datebook. The
