The Equites sagittarii iuniores is listed as one of the vexillationes comitatenses under the Magister Militum per Thracias. As an eastern cavalry unit, its shield pattern is not recorded in the Notitia.

Unlike many units listed in the Notitia, the Equites sagittarii iuniores is, however, recorded outside the Notitia: a gravestone from Constanta in Romania records (AE 1976, 617; photos here) a soldier who served in the SAGITTARS IVNIORES.

Note that there is a unit called the plain Sagittarii iuniores listed in the Notitia, as one of the vexillationes comitatenses units in the Magister Equitum's cavalry roster; it is most likely to be the same as the Equites scutarii iuniores comitatenses under the Comes Africae, however.
