Body length 20cm, wingspan 80-90cm. They lives in the southern islands of Japan. The staple food of this bat is fruit and flower.

PTEROPODIDAE "Okinawa" Flying Fox

Forearm length 14cm. Body length is no reocrd. This bat only has a specimen two bodies captured in Okinawa Island. It is considering already having died out.

PTEROPODIDAE Bonin Flying Fox

Body length 20-25cm. They lives in Ogasawara islands (Bonin islands) only. It is inhabiting only Japan. A kind with fear of the extinction. There is only several hundred in total.

RHINOLOPHIDAE Horseshoe Bat

Body length 6.3-8.2cm. Tail length 2.8-4.5cm. This bat takes out supersonic waves from that characteristic nose. A position is grasped with the reflection of supersonic waves.

Forearm length 3.6-4.4cm. Body length 3.5-5.0cm. Tail length 1.6-2.6cm. This bat is smaller than Horseshoe Bat, and it is a characteristic seed in Japan.
