The first Malaysian Amateur satellite 'TIUNGSAT - 1' is to be
launched on 25th August, 2000 from Baikonur Cosmodrome, Khazakstan
(Same launch as Saudisat - Ed)

Details of 'TIUNGSAT - 1' (named after the malaysian bird "Myna")

The Saudi, Italian, and Malaysian satellites launched at
10:05 GMT, Sept.26,2000.

There is an story at http://www.space.com about the launch.

The seventh object is the Gas Dynamic Shield which was released
first. Megsat 1 was released 1 second later, followed by TiungSat-1,
SaudiSat-1A, SaudiSat-1B and UniSat at one second intervals.

On TiungSat-1:
The downlink frequency is 437.325 MHZ.  Note that the object number
seems to have changed recently to 26546 (from 26548). This is normal
following a launch as NASA don't know what the spacecraft are.

Analysis of the latest TLEs seems to confirm the swap of the B & D pieces.
The new order of passing is A C B D E G & F, with F in a higher and more 
elliptical orbit, and the separation between pieces slowly increasing.
