How to install ComEmulDrv and setup MixW serial port bridge (pair#1,#2) by JE9PEL

Using New ONLINEKISS Ver8.0.3,
Audio -> MixW KISSTNC emulation -> MixW(pair#1) -> New ONLINEKISS -> MixW(pair#2) -> CPXDD -> Internet


1. Start - Control Panel - Add New Hardware Device - Multi Port Serial Adaptor
2. Open ComEmulDrv.inf after extracting ComEmulDrv3.zip
3. Select and install 'MixW serial port bridge'
4. Start - Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager
5. Multi Port Serial Adaptor - MixW Serial port bridge
6. Click right - Properties
7. Configure two pairs as follows,
    Pair#1: First emulated port:  COM10 (for input)
            Second emulated port: COM11 (for output)
    Pair#2: First emulated port:  COM7  (for input)
            Second emulated port: COM8  (for output)
   Reboot your computer

 


8. MixW - Mode - Packet - General - KISS TNC emulation




9. MixW - Configure - TNC emulation port - Serial port - COM10 (for input)




10. Rewrite onlinekiss.ini of New ONLILEKISS as follows,
     11,19200,N,8,1
     ntp.nict.jp
     07,19200,N,8,1
    Change after this, New ONLINEKISS - File - TNC Setup




11. New ONLINEKISS - File - TNC Setup - COM11 for incoming data
                                        COM7  for outgoing data




12. New ONLINEKISS - Options - Check 'mirror incoming data from COMM A to COMM B'

 


13. CPXDD - File - Preferences - TNC - Port: COM8 (for input)




14. Reboot your computer to apply new settings above all.
