Hello Mineo:

My XYL Jo has set up a new spread sheet for my FO-29 telemetry. I am sending you a set of
20 frames received today from FO-29 on an overhead pass. The data shows that the spacecraft
is still in very good health. The time for 1 frame has reduced to only 47 seconds from the
previous 50 seconds due to all the E data points in the temperatuire data.

I hope you and your familly are still safe from the radiation leakage from the Fukushima
Power Plant. The news we get here tells us that they are trying to keep the radio active
water from flowing into the ocean by freezing it at the plant site. I hope it works!
What a mess! I wish we could all use solar power and wind and eliminate nuclear power
generation and coal and other fossil fuels.

10m has been very good here for DX to Europe and Japan. I worked JM7OLW Suke up in
Fukushima on October 5 on CW @ 2225 UTC. His RST 579. I am using only a simple half-wave
dipole made of telescoping tubing from my old 3 element yagi. It was the driven element
of my old 10m yagi. The dipole is up 12 meters. My power is only 50W from the FT-857D.
Can you operate 10m CW or SSB? It would be great to work you over the air since we can
not reach each other on the LEO satellites. I used to work Kenji JR1WZI often on AO-10
mode L. It was fantastic with 589 signals all the time. He came to Illinois and visited
me during that time. He visited about 6 hams during his trip from California to Illinois.

Please send my congratulations and sincere thanks to the designers and builders of FO-20
and FO-29 for giving us such a wonderful pair of spacecraft. FO-29 continues to work
perfectly. I hope it lives a very long life like AO-7 hi hi.

Subject: FO-29 100% Sun

Hi Mineo:

Tracking FO-29 and the sun with my MAC indicates that FO-29 is in sunlight for 100 percent
of it's orbit. Recent telemetry confirms this since the battery current is constant at
a low trickle charge of -40 mA. Battery voltage is constant at 17.35 Volts or 1.557 Volts
per cell, which is maxed out at full charge.

All temperatures are higher than usual. For example, the battery temp is 30.57 degrees C.
The solar arrays are producing normal currents of 1116 mA on average.

Hope everything is OK at your QTH.

The telemetry of FO-29 have many errors in Temperature,

  5A. Bus Voltage
  5C. Structure 1 Temperature
  5D. Structure 2 Temperature
  6A. Structure 3 Temperature
  6B. Structure 4 Temperature
  6C. Battery Cell Temperature

We have to read to A in the case of E and B in the case of F
where the value of "5A and 5C 5D 6A 6B 6C".

In case of,
HI HI 1A 1B 1C 1D 2A 2B 2C 2D 3A 3B 3C 3D 4A 4B 4C 4D 5A 5B 5C 5D 6A 6B 6C
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
HI HI 20 C2 88 D5 00 70 00 00 09 60 01 01 73 60 96 90 F0 3D F6 F4 F5 F5 F1

Replace to,
HI HI 1A 1B 1C 1D 2A 2B 2C 2D 3A 3B 3C 3D 4A 4B 4C 4D 5A 5B 5C 5D 6A 6B 6C
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
HI HI 20 C2 88 D5 00 70 00 00 09 60 01 01 73 60 96 90 B0 3D B6 B4 B5 B5 B1

Then,
Solar Current 1127.5 [mA]
Battery Current 118.4 [mA]
Battery Voltage 16.1 [V]
Middle Voltage 6.9 [V]
Bus Voltage 17.3 [V]
JTA Tx Power 298.4 [mW]
Structure1 Temp 11.2 [C]
Structure2 Temp 12.0 [C]
Structure3 Temp 11.6 [C]
Structure4 Temp 11.6 [C]
Battery Cell Temp 13.1 [C]
