The time of the eclipse of FO-29 seems to approach. I calculated this time of the eclipse by the software 'illum.exe'. This 'illum.exe' is the software to display the illumination and eclipse of the satellite. This was developed by DK3WN/Mike Rupprecht, a German Satelliter. It's necessary 'MSWINSCK.OCX' (Visual Basic 6.0 Run_Time) to be installed in your PC to start 'illum.exe'. Original file, http://www.dk3wn.info/files/illum.zip Update file, http://www.ne.jp/asahi/hamradio/je9pel/illum.zip I retouched 'illum.ini' in this Update file. The 'illum.ini' file contains three lines, 1. Your QTH Locator 2. Your full path to the TLE file 3. The URL of your NTP Time Server for time sync 'illem.ini' example, --------------------- PM95TJ d:\illum\keps_tle.txt ntp.nict.jp --------------------- This 'keps_tle.txt' is the TLE sample file. Actually, it recognizes TLE file consisting of the numbers of many satellites. We understand that the eclipse of FO-29 begins on 10 Nov 2010, and AO-51 continues full sunlight for a while as a result of having calculated with the latest orbital TLE. By the way, it takes about 30 seconds so that 'illem.exe' starts.Supplement for Eclipse by JARL http://blog.goo.ne.jp/fo-29/e/553e443c02c28d27bc07e993a4b77ee4 2010 11/01 0%, 11/10 5%, 11/20 14%, 11/30 17%
