Subject: CUTE-1.7+APD CW format info(?)

Mineo,
Thanks for posting CUTE-1.7+APD info to AMSAT-BB.
I had lost track of the project and launch.
Information has been added to my CubeSat web page at
http://showcase.netins.net/web/wallio/CubeSat.htm.
I have included links to M-V-8 launch updates available via
http://www.jaxa.jp/press/2006/02/20060201_mv-8_e.html and
http://www.isas.jaxa.jp/e/countdown/index-en.shtml.
I will be working on a set of preliminary TLEs.
Do you have any information about CW telemetry format and decoding ?
Perhaps it will be similar to CUTE-1,

Thanks for the info.
This looks like a great project and we wish our Japanese friends all the
best for the launch. This project is interesting for a number of reasons:
1. It will be the first CubeSat launched with a Japanese launch system (JAXA M-V 8).
2. It will use its own deployment system (no CalPoly P-POD).
3. It has of the shelf radios (Kenwood TH-59 and the Alinco DJ-C5) on board.
4. It uses two PDAs (MS Windows CE.NET) as command and data handling units)
Sounds like fun to me.
