TlmEcho had a version up to Ver 1.1.1. I received and analyzed AO-51 signals using this TlmEcho Ver1.1.1 on 26, 28 Dec 2005. First, you download "TlmEcho Ver 1.04", the complete windows installation package from (1) as bellow and install it into PC. Secondly, you download the new version "TlmEcho Ver 1.1.1" from (2) as bellow and extract it. And you replace Tlmecho.exe in (1) to Tlmecho.exe in (2). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mike Kingery, KE4AZN has written a telemetry decoder, TlmEcho, that will allow the user to view and capture telemetry that is downlinked by Echo in real time. (1) Complete windows full package TlmEcho Ver 1.0.4 installation package (11 July 2004 - 1.44MB) TlmEcho_Pack_v104.zip http://www.amsat.org/amsat-new/echo/tlm_decode.php http://www.amsat.org/amsat-new/echo/files/TlmEcho_Pack_v104.zip (2) Executable file update TlmEcho Ver 1.1.1 upgrade files (24 Dec 2005 - 60KB) TlmEcho_EXE_v111.zip http://home.centurytel.net/ke4aznsatellite/echo.htm http://home.centurytel.net/ke4aznsatellite/download/TlmEcho_EXE_v111.zip http://www.ne.jp/asahi/hamradio/je9pel/TlmEcho_EXE_v111.zip Supplement: Firstly install full package 'TlmEcho_Pack_v104.zip'. Be sure to edit 'CPBINI.txt' for com port, com port speed, modem type, KISS ON/OFF parameters, callsign, LAT/LON, etc. The following is a sample. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ;init file for TlmEcho, CPBINI.txt ;com port number. Valid ports are 1 thru 8 port 1 ;port data rate. Must match the tnc ;supported settings: 9600, 19200, 34800, 57600, 115200 speed 19200 ; y = init the tnc into kiss on startup init y ; y = take the tnc out of kiss when program is quit, kissoff kiss off y ; type of TNC. 'kpc' for kpc 9612, 'tarp' for tarp or pacomm or tarper equiv. tnc = tapr ; Callsign is the Users Amateur Call Callsign JE9PEL ; GridLoc is the Users Grid Locator GridLoc PM95TJ ; Lat and Lon are the Users coordidates ;Lat 35.38 N ;Lon 139.61 E ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Three new files 'Tlmecho.exe Ver1.1.1 , EchoCoef.csv , filterlist.txt' are provided when we extract 'TlmEcho_EXE_v111.zip'. Replace the former files with them. By the way, in "CPBINI.txt" mentioned above, we set it with "kiss off y", but TNC does not really get away from the KISS mode at the time of the end of TlmEcho. To TNC KISS OFF, please upload my own 'kiss_off.txt' file into TNC, and this file is available at http://www.ne.jp/asahi/hamradio/je9pel/kiss_off.txt![]()
