The fact of the education in Japan is appearing through the COVID-19 policy.
Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology tries to reform the educational system.
But the educational system has been before World War 2 in this age.
That aim to learn problems solving skills, but not yet.
We know distress to reform the modern educational system. Therefore we shall consider how to be possible solving problems.
The working team of Liberal Democratic Party (LDP WT) planned the September enrollment that changes the month of start and admission of school, in May. 2020.
The working was begun when the Governors suggested a contingency plan for losing the opportunity to learn, in Apr. 2020.
Even though LDP WT plan does not explain the students impact to close schools by COVID-19, and lists only social impact to advance the start month of school.
And LDP WT plan has a lot of matter, for examples, pre-school children be enforced to skip grades.(link 1)
Educators related and pre-school parents started the activity for oppose votes to LDP WT plan, against pre-school children be sacrificed.(link 2 Japanese only)
The Government stopped working the September enrollment, in Jun 2020.
The points are two.
1)The students lose the opportunity to learn. And the government does not plan measures for.
2)The matter of pre-school children will be rekindled, if the COVID-19 2nd wave comes.
Now, we think about the matter of the education in Japan that appeared through the September enrollment of the COVID-19 policy.
NII started Todai Robot Project, making an AI which passes the entrance examination of the University of Tokyo, in 2011.
The project had stop when AI was capable to pass more than 60 percent of the universities in Japan, in 2016 (Now the project was restarted).
This means that AI and the students who passes entrance exam of mid-level university might be without actually understanding things.
NII warns of singularity and has suggested that the Project funding be used for education.

Actually, the educational system of Japan has been worried for a long time after World War 2.
For examples, Temporary Education Council (set up by Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone in 1984) report said "We need to avoid from Memory-based cramming education."
Central Education Council report said in 1996 "We need to develop skills to find problems by ourselves, learn by ourselves, think for ourselves, judge independently, act and solve problems better."
These mean that the educational system of Japan cannot develop individuality and problems solving skills.

Who responds for favor or oppose votes to LDP WT plan has been singularity, because AI is so faster to choose than human.
We human shall solve more complex matter, not only select.
We shall learn to be with actually understanding things.
And the educational system shall support that.
This is education.
