at "THIS-IS" Jazz coffeehouse in Kushiro city, Hokkaido, Japan (2002)
Yoshito Ohno passed away on 8th January, 2020, and
we picked up a "Revolt of the body" performance reenacted
by Kazuo Ohno, Akiko Motofuji, and Yoshito Ohno in Kushiro city.

A "Revolt of the body"
Mr. Azuma was on the left side.
Mika and Itto helped Azuma san (the owner) have this event at "THIS-IS"
where Kazuo Ohno performed several times and loved the small place.

and all photographs were taken from it

We were informed that Yoshito san passed away suddenly.
- He was at a hospital for a couple of months because of a bone fracture.
We remembered one of the oldest memories with him,
together with Kazuo Ohno and Akiko Motofuji,
also with Azuma san who happily invited them
to his small Jazz coffeehouse. And, all have died ...
We express our deep condolences
to his families and butoh related people in Yokohama.
