Locomotives

No.1 loco "Workdiesel"

It was constructed from the kit of 1/6scale model by Giko-sha at summer in 2000.

One motor drives two axes. The weight is about 30kg.


No.2 loco "AB10"

The strongest locomotive was manufactured at autumn in 2001.

The chassis and drive system are productions by Modelnics, and Body is free design which is made of paper.

Two motors drive two axes. The weight is about 40kg.


No.3 "Goose"

The free designed goose is longest rolling stock in A&B and was manufactured at spring in 2002.

The chassis is made of wood, and the cabin is paper.

One motor drives one axis. The weight is about 15kg.


No.4 loco "Deki-3"

The smallest locomotive was constructed from the kit of 1/8.4 scale model by Japan Miniature Club at summer in 2002.

One motor drives two axes. The weight is about 40kg.


No.5 Gasoline engine loco

The cabin was constructed for the gasoline engine locomotive of Nizaki Model Engineering mentioned later.

A silencer was tested because of the sound of two cycle engine, and this loco is a result of the investigation.


No.6 "Bigwork"

The largest locomotive to ride inside of cabin was constructed at spring in 2003.

Two motors drives two axes. The weight is about 20kg.

This was dismantled in 2013 to use the power bogie truck into No.29 loco Railbus.


No.7 loco "Kato 7ton"

This locomotive is 1/4.8 scale model and the product of Modelnics.

The sound of four cycle gasoline engine of Honda 25cc is very good.


No.8 loco "Sapphire"

Live steam locomotive Sapphire is product of Maxitrak in UK.

This small narrow gauge tank with simple mechanism is considered to be suited for private garden railway.


No.9 loco "Plymouth"

Battery loco Plymouth is constructed from the kit by Maxitrak in UK.

It is 1/5 Scale model. Two motors drive two axes separately and exercise sufficient traction though its light weight of about 20kg.


No.10 "Camera boy"

Free designed rail car with ccd camera and radio control system.

The direction of camera can be changed by servomotor of RC system, and this car can be driven by seeing the display in the room.


No.11 loco "Rail motor"

The old live steam locomotive was obtained as used one by auction.

This tender type loco is considered to be a semi-scale model of LSWR S14(0-4-0T).



No.12 loco "AB20"

The chassis and drive system are productions by Modelnics, and Body is free design which is made of paper .

Two motors drive two axes. The weight is about 40kg as same as No.2 loco AB10. This locomotive was built to double-header service with AB10.


No.13 loco "Lady Madcap"

The old Inside frame steam locomotive model was obtained by auction, and was restored.


No.14 loco "Popinjay"

This freelance designed steam locomotive is electric powered with sound and smoke unit


No.15 loco "Koppel"

This locomotive is 1/6 scale model and the kit by Nizaki Model Engineering.

The tender is freelance built with plywood.

No.16 loco "Baltic"

This Model was got in the auction, and restored for some parts.

The free design body was built later.


No.17 loco "Jack"

This locomotive is 1/4 scale model and the product by Maxitrak.

No.18 loco "Ajax"

This Model was got in the auction too, and restored for some parts.


No.19 loco "DB81"

This Model was built by Mr. Ryuichi Sato, is 1/5scale model of Kubiki Railway.


No.20 loco "Shay"

Michigan-California #2 Shay with T-boiler built by Mr. Yoshinori Kiuchi for me.


No.21 loco "Tobboo"

By using a vertical boiler from kit and stationary one cylinder engine, free design steam tram was built in 2008.


No.22 loco "Forte"

The first C tank locomotive that has three driver axes in A&B, built the new kit from O.S. in 2008.


No.23 loco "Simplicity"

The product by Maxitrak, older than Plymouth, light weight battery locomotive, came as a secondhand loco in spring of 2009


No.24 loco "Alice"

The product by Maxitrak, small Hunslet locomotive with open cab and saddle tank, came in summer of 2009


No.25 loco "Judith M"

Don Young designed, fourth Hunslet locomotive in Akubi L.R., came from UK as a secondhand in winter of 2011


No.26 Railcar "ADP261"

It is designed for riding in the train. The body is scratchbuilt with plywood, and using the chassis for rotary snowplow.


No.27 "Kiso Logging R. Baldwin B1"

2inch scale model of Baldwin B1 rear tank in Kiso Logging Raylway, that is the most famous narrow gauge locomotive in Japan.
It was almost scratchbuilt from Sept. 2011 to Jan. 2013.


No.28 "Whitcomb Marcis"

3inch scale model of little Whitcomb in Kiso Logging Railway, scratchbuilt with steel plates and angle bars in May 2013.


No.29 "Railbus"

This model was built as 7.25inch gauge 2-2-0, and rebuilt to 5inch gauge 4-4-0 by using the power bogie truck of No.6 loco in Aug. 2013.

Moreover, cow-catcher, headlight, roof baggage rack were built, and the digital sound module of diesel engine was installed.


No.30 "Jet"

The commemorative No.30 locomotive is propelled by jet engine (gas turbine engine).

The thrust of the engine is about 10kgf, that is sufficient to climb 4% upward slope pushing the coach with two or three passengers.

The fuel is kerosene, and three liters tank can drive the engine about twenty minutes.


No.31 "Pedal car"

Human powered locomotive built with the part of old bicycle.

The brake and speed meter are equipped.

No.32 "Volkswagen Type 2"

Using the body of child's toy, simple configuration of one axis drive and one battery chassis was built.

The tires of the car are floating about 2cm from the rail top.



No.33 "AD67"

The first four axes drive electric locomotive in Akubi L.R.

The trucks are made of wood. The body is made of plywood and cardboard.

It was equipped with a charging jack and horn of the same tone as Shinkansen.


No.34 "Industrial locomotive"

Hybrid locomotive that generates electricity by gasoline engine and drives a motor.

It can run at any time without charging battery. Equipped with headlight, air horn, and crane.

Electric tools can be used anywhere in the garden..

For down slope, it equipped with brakes.




No.35 "Heisler"

5inch gauge Heisler came as a secondhand on the basis of Mr. Kozo Hiraoka's design.

Because it was repainted, it is beautiful like a new one.

However, there were steam leaks in various places, and it became completely overhaul.

I restarted the sealing of the engine piston and maintained it.

Since the driving wheel comes in contact with the water supply piping at sharp curve, I will improve this part.



No.36 "Small DL"

It came as a secondhand. It seems it was a prototype.

Transmission from a small motor to the rear axis by belt drive and all-wheel drive by side rods.

Because the motor is not powerful, I am considering replacing the motor with a big one.



No.37 "Keifuku Teki-6"

It is a 1/8 scale model of an old Japanese electric locomotive.

The body is made of plywood and the chassis is made of steel.

Two motors, 24V battery, chain drive.

It was completed in October 2019.



No.38 "Koppel 0-6-0"

1/6 scale live steam model.

She has hand pump and axle pump.

The weight is about 45kg.

It was completed in April 2021.



No.39 "Gasmechanical"

Freelance desigh full scratch build model.

Four cycle gasoline engine for auto bicycle was used.

The weught is about 40kg and the length is 55cm.

It was completed in July 2021.



No.40 "Industrial center cab"

Freelance desigh full scratch build model.

The chassis is made of metal and is transmitted by gears and chains.

The body is made of cardboard.

Length 70cm, width 26cm, height 110cm

It was completed in July 2023.



Rail-truck

It is radio-controlled toy car by Tamiya Model without any remodeling but only taking off the rubber tires.


Gasoline engine locomotive

It is old product by Nizaki Model Engineering.



Rolling stocks

Caboose

It was manufactured at autumn in 2001 by free design. The body is made of paper.


Wagon

It was manufactured at winter in 2001. The body is made of paper.


Van

It was manufactured at autumn 2002. The body is made of paper and wood.


Tank car No.1

It was manufactured at autumn 2002. The body is constructed from two plastic flowerpot.


Logging car(wooden frame)

It was manufactured at spring 2002. It can be used as a driving trailer (mentioned later).


Tipper wagon No.1

It was scratchbuilt from steel at summer 2003.


Short caboose

It is scale model, and manufactured at summer 2003. The body is made of wood.


Logging car(steel frame)

They are the kit from Giko-sha, and were constructed at summer 2003.


Box car

The body was manufactured at summer in 2003. It can be used as a driving trailer or working truck (mentioned later).


Tipper wagon No.2`5

They are products of Ride on Railways in UK.


Tipper tank

It is product of PNP Railways in UK.


Logging tank

It was scratchbuilt as additional water tank for Baldwin, 2inch scale model of the tank car in Kiso Logging Railway.


Well wagon

The steel frame was constructed in 2004. It can carry a large or heavy baggage, and can be used as driving trailer.


Short well wagon

The steel frame was constructed in 2007 for driving trailer.


Long caboose

Third and biggest caboose in A&B, built in 2008.


Coach No.1

The body was manufactured at summer in 2003. It can be used as a driving trailer (mentioned later).


Coach No.2

It can be used as a driving trailer too.


Coach No.3

This small coach is driving trailer too.


Rotary snowplow No.1

It is equipped for snow day's service with the cardboard rotor and the powerless motor.


Blower car

The blower car was built in order to clear the track covered with fallen leaves. It consists of electric blower, gasoline engine generator, and driving locomotive.


Rotary snowplow No.2

This is new Rotary Snowplow, exchanging the blower unit to the snowplow one. It works in winter.


Driving trailer (for two men)

This bogie trailer is the product from O.S, and becomes the coach with upper body (mentioned above)


Driving trailer (for one man)

Mounting the upper chassis by simple plywood structure, the logging car mentioned above becomes this bogie trailer.


Driving trailer No.2(for one man)

Mounting the upper chassis by simple wooden structure, the steel logging car mentioned above becomes this bogie driving trailer.


Driving trailer No.3

This trailer is to test the new locomotive.


Driving trailer No.4

This trailer is designed for driving the live steam.


Driving trailer No.5

This trailer is designed for driving the gasoline engine loco.


Driving trailer No.6 (Wagon)

It is built for driving Baldwin, but the best ride on trailer for Stationmaster and Assistant stationmaster.


Toolbox car

It is used in rail construction and maintenance.


Working truck

This two axes trailer is the product from Modelnics.
