No.18 loco Ajax under repetition of repair and test driving

The fittings of boiler are old and weak, so the exchange with new parts are necessary.

Goods from Mr. Teruo Inoue

Many goods arrived from Mr. Teruo Inoue were carried to the garage by AB10 train. The goods are a lot of old model engines.

Rare and treasure model such as gasoline, diesel, glow engines are in seven boxes. I think I can hold a show or open a museum !
Autumn open days

A&B open days are carried out some days in October and November. All days were fine with pleasant time

The many guests waiting to ride on the train in the porch, and going to little travel under bright autumn sunshine

It was very fine day according to hopes and good behaviors of all guests.
Improvement of driving trailer

Simple driving trailer before improvement, and my wife riding on it said that it was hard to operate.

The fifth special open day

The fifth special open day was carried out at Saturday of November 17th. My friend Mr. Kimio Hoshino driving Jack is a leader of this event.

Pretty layout in bag

I got fortunately this pretty HOe layout in the bag. It was built by Mr. Akihiro Moroboshi who is a famous modeler in Japan

Fantastic detail can be seen in all over the layout.

It is real portable because the bag can be closed by folding all structures and rollingstocks within.
Live steam Shays

45mm gauge live steam Shays, three are by Accucraft, One is by Aster, and the other one is unknown.

Reports from the others

Mr. Hoshino's vertical boilers and old clockwork tin toy locomotive in his hobby room

This is his newest project of 3.5inch gauge Netta.

In Mr. Kiuchi's workshop, 5inch T-boiler Shay was built. The photos shows smokestack, boiler cover, dome, bell, and dummy generator.

This is a variable gauge car built by Mr. Koike, what can be change the gauge automatically with running between 35mm and 45mm.
Appreciation

Mr. Inoue driving my No.16 loco Baltic in the special open day. I and my locomotives were very honor for Mr. Hiraoka and Mr. Inoue driving in my garden railway.
