McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet
F/A-18 is all-weather fighter and attack aircraft manufactured in USA. F/A-18 Hornets are currently operating in 37 tactical squadrons from air stations world-wide, and from 10 aircraft carriers of US Navy and also operating in Canada, Spain, Australia and Kuwait. It is flown by the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron from 1987.
Small swept-back angle and large aspect ratio of wing as jet fighters give good performance for carrier landing and also good performance as paper airplane. This paper model is modified slightly from real F/A-18 for better performance of gliding.

How to manufacture F/A-18 Hornet
Download the drawing and print it on thick paper. (Refer to Material and Instrument.) Pdf version is more fine drawing. Set up your printer for thick paper.
Cut the paper according to the thick solid line. Fold up as dash and dot line " _ . _ . _" , the line consealed in fold or located inside the corner as result, and fold down as dash line " - - - - " , the line appear on the fold. Cockpit is surrounded partly in the body (refer figure). After folding, open and cover back side of jet in paste or glue and re-fold.  Main wing is bent up by 5 degree at center for roll stability (Dihedral angle). Vertical tail fin is inclined out by 20 degree from vertical line. Paste horizontal tail fin under the wing as thinly printed marker. Paste wings on the body. Fold and paste nose cover at nose of body. Cut out the catapulting hook. No balance weight is needed.
 

Adjustment
Bend down wings slightly as a bow shape to make camber. Form washout (decrease angle of incidense at wing tip) at the tip of main wings to avoid tip stall. Spray paint thinly if fly outdoor. Fly F/A-18 as "How To Fly".
