The photo above is Aosuji Swallowtail Butterfly. This kind butterfly is usually flies very agilely. But when I found this one on a road, this is not able to fly well. So I could catch it with my hands. If you see this photo carefully, you can find that the under right wing is different from the shape of left one. The shape of the butterfly is not symmetry, so it could not fly well. This butterfly is young one.

By the way the summer weather in 2003 was very difficult to expect. The numbers of butterflies I saw was shown as a table below. As the number of swallowtail, Black and Aosuji swallowtail butterfly are seen to a certain extent, I expected the summer in 2003 year would be hot. But the number of cabbage butterfly increased at the beginning of June. So I have a doubt whether it would be right to expect that it will be hot.Even though the number of swallowtails are not decrease I did not change my expectation. But that is wrong completely. It was a record cool summer after ten years though the rainy season was not so cool and it was usual.
