Notes
The self-titled second album from Sheryl Crow was released in September of '96. In Japan, it was released with the different artwork(click the picture above) while UK or European versions uses the same picture in different colors.

Produced by the woman herself, Sheryl Crow reveals and reinvents herself. As she told at interviews, she tried everything she wanted to which she couldn't while making the previous album. She rocks harder, shouts more than in Tuesday Night Music Club, backed with loud guitars. her voices sound raw and clear, which makes it much more conspicuous than in TNMC.

As for the lyrics, she voices her opinion in Redemption Day which is about Sarajebo and Love is A Good Thing which made Walmart angry. She presents her policy and tries to encourage fans with A Change and Everyday is a Winding Road.

Debuted at number six in the US and number five in the UK, it gave Sheryl another Grammys - The Best Rock Album and The Best Female Rock Vocal Performance (for If It Makes You Happy). An unforgettable masterpiece in '90s.
