Eddi Reader: "Angels and Electricity"
Scottish thrush Reader has one of those Midas voices that transmutes
into gold almost every note it touches. How she's remained cult-secret
is a mystery, but this gorgeous team-up with strummer Boo Hewerdine
might set the record straight. 'Bell, Book, and Candle' and 'Postcard'
sprinkle down like fine fairy dust; hear her and rejoice.
