was only considered when the same microorganism was retrieved in repeated cultures
without previous treatment. Only three cases met such criteria
(all of whom had negative EPSs).
「グラム陽性菌が原因と認定できるのは3例のみ」と書いています。
「グラム陰性菌の場合は精液で97％、前立腺液で82％の検出率。
283人にグラム陽性菌が検出。精液では全員100％、前立腺液では46人
16％の検出率。 」というのが、この論文のメインの主張ですから、
発見されたグラム陽性菌が病原菌ではないことは、著者は書きたくなかったことだと、
思います。でも、雑誌の編集者につっこまれ、仕方なく書いたことでしょう。
