いささか長文になりますが、現時点でお答えできることを下記に記します。
2001年の講演には、当協会からもハーシェル・ツアーを組んで出席しています。そのときのことを木村達郎さんが、レポートの中で少し触れています。

これ以上詳しい内容は今すぐに分かりません。英国ハーシェル協会の定期刊行物にはその内容が載ったはずですが、この点は要確認です。
協会ニューズレターに載った講演予告の中で、同氏についてもチラッと書いてありましたので、書き写してみます。

お名前を検索すると沢山ヒットしますが、どうもフランス語のサイトばかりですね。
その経歴を自動翻訳で強引に英訳（和訳だと全く意味不明になるので）してもらうと、以下の通りでした（長文失礼）。これだと意味は大体分かります（文中の"it"は"he"に読み替えてください）。
「Of at the same time scientific and musical formation, Domenica Proust is an Engineer de Recherche at CNRS , and Astrophysicist at the Observatory of Meudon . それから、１つ前のメールでのお尋ねの件についてですが、ハーシェルの音楽の業績について特にまとめたものとしては、英国ハーシェル協会員のFrank Brown氏による WILLIAM HERSCHEL, MUSICIAN AND COMPOSER (1990) という小冊子があります（これが唯一かもしれません。いくつかのキーワードで英国の図書館蔵書横断検索をしましたが、これ以外にはヒットしませんでした）。その内容はニューズレターでも部分的に翻訳紹介されましたし、原本は協会事務局に所蔵されています。お時間をいただければ、コピー等をお送りできると思います。その中に作品一覧が載っていると良いのですが…。（残念ながら私は原本未見です。）
なお、その中の記述に「ウィリアムはバースに1766年12月に到着したが…そのコンサートに…自分のハープシコード・ソナタを演奏したり…」とあるので、彼はチェンバロ曲も書いていたはずです。
また、上記の検索結果によると、ハーシェル作品の楽譜は、現在でも、そのごく一部が公刊されているに過ぎない状況のようです（手稿のファクシミリ複製というのもありました）。
そのうち、下記のものは東京芸大図書館にも所蔵されています（A3/S989/5-3 18803056102）。

したがって、楽譜を広く入手するには、やはり手稿原本のコピーに頼るしかない状況のようです。
