I received this mail from a reader , so I tried it instantly. There was the definitive problem on old Sinhala font such as kandy or kandy new that we can not type out fundamental Sinhala letters with alphabet keys. The defective points are that i-yanna and u-yanna are impissible to type by alphabet keys. But kaputa font could solve this problems. I couhd not find it till now because I use this kaputa font as reading Sinhala papper only and do not think I can type this font at all. Me too think that such a convenience font shall be likely to turn into the constant font of Sinhala typing . Incidentally as for this font, Some parts of character code table is omitted. But typing role is fundamentally same as former fonts, I recommend you to prepare typing charts by yourself. It is easy to make kaputa typing chart. Type the alphabet keys in ordre and print out it. Then you understand kaputa font typing order easily.
