Speak Sinhala / Sinhala Q and A

Give some consideration to write pronunciation of Sinhala.
Q7 You compared some words of Japanese and Sinhala , and mentioned about correspndence.
But I think your comparative method is not precise. Because Sinhala words are carried out in Japanese katakana on your book. Isn't it necessary to write those words with international phonetic symbols. Moreover, I wonder if Japanese katakana can be transcribed in Sinhalese enough?. (T. N)

A You point it out correctly.
I will carry out my excuse after accepting that your indication is right.

My excuse is that your question for Sinhala reading writing is too far from my issue. I mentioned "Easy Sinhala Speaking Method" on my book. If I took out the phonetic symbols on my book ,most of ordinary readers can not read it well. And I think that even if the readres read sinhalese by katakana ,there are almost no trables to speak sinhalese.
The pronunciation will be different from collect sinhalese words when the readers spoke sinhalese by katakana reading,. But even so, almost all sinhalese people could understand what he/she have spoken in Japanese way. Even me, at first , I speak Sinhala in Katakana mode and every Sinhalese could listen what i was speaking.

On that time my pronunciation is something different from pure Sinhala. But even if there is a difference in some, the katakana notation has large merit to beginners.
In the same way, the sinhalese, living in Japan, used to write Japanese words by Sinhalese characters and read those by their own pronunciation. And there are no ploblem for conversation between Sinhala and japanese .

@@I mentioned on my book that Sinhala have many vowels of "a" in their alphabet. On the contrary, there is only one vowel of " a " in Japanese. This is the only problem of katakana - Sinhala - writing..
I carried out four " ata " s () on my book , which Japanese people can not pronunce well..
But please be care on the next point. Even if the Japanese could not pronunce those words collectly , there are no need to worried about If you were the Japanese and you could not pronounce those " ata "s collecrly , the Sinhalese may listen your poor speaking cautiously; and understand what you want to speak. Conversation is not the technique but hearts exchanges.

Aiso there are consonants which the Japanese could not pronunce well .they are T , D , L and R . As for these characters, I inserted phonetic symbols on my book.
