Speak Sinhala / Sinhala Q and A
Q2 Sinhala word "den'ne" is same as Kansai dialect "den'nen". |
Q2 There was written on your book that when the sinhalese said "give
me boiled rice " in sinhalese ,they spoke "bath den'ne"
in the Sinhala language. Then I find the idea. In Kansai dialect of Japanese, they used to speak that "gohan den'nen", it means "give me boiled rice". It is same as sinhalese! So even my 7-years old daughter could speak Sinhala as " omelet den'nen" means "give me omlet" in Sinhala (actually it means "This is omlet" in Kansai diarect). Isn't it funny? ( S. .K) |
A Really? I did not know that.
It is impressed. It make easy to remember Sinhala word " den'ne ".
When we speak Sinhalese ,we must pay attention at kansai diarect more.
cf/Sinhala word "den'ne" is . (dhen:ne)
