Speak Sinhala / Sinhala Q and A
Is Q9 Japanese insensibly in "sound"? |
Q1 You wrote "the Japanese are insensibe in sound" (p192), but I never think so..Japanese people have analysis of hearing a sound of insects by the right brains which manages language on the contrary foreigners catch. those by left brains. The Japanese who heard the sound of a deer threat of a garden calm inside, and hear the sound of water dropped from "kakei" (the bamboo pipe of Japanese garden ), and also feel carm to hear a sound of a frog which jumps into an old pond. Even so you say The Japanese are insensibe to sound? You wrote that Ta - line of Japanese alphabet "ta, chi, tsu, te, to" is not collect and it must be "ta,ti,tu,te,to".-- Even so , isn't it because you adopted the methodology of the West which analyzes phonetic sound with consonents and vowels? It may be a fact that a number of sounds in Japanese has become fewer. The abundance of language cannot simply be measured only to sounds. China letters changed Hantai-ji”ɑ̎š into a simplified Chinese character, and also use Roman alphabet notation called pin-in. And having carried out resolutely the language policy which Kemal Ataturk changes into a Roman alphabet from an Arabic script once in Turkey also receiving foreign culture, while gathering literacy in domestic. The difficulty of pronunciation will be easy to solve for the Japanese.I think that training can solve it. Because I can pronounce Russian "r", French "r", and "a" of English "cat" to be also able to do. Those are the pronounces that the Japanese do not use. If the Japanese undeastand those differences it is recognized as just that sound and they can listen those.. The weekness of listening is that Japanese people want to depreciate oneself too much.(acquisition of other lunguages are big burdens for every nations.) It is my ideas that the weekness of speaking language is based on much the lack of experience as an island country people and that the problem with mental Japanese people . Finally, "kasa branka" which comes out to 203 pages is not French but Spanish. "A white house" is called "maison branshe" in French. The White House in the United States is also called maison branshe in France. ( Kiichiro I) |
A Thanks for your letter from Sri Lanka. Your last indication is right. It's
my mistake . Readers, please make it rewrite from French to Spanish.
@Now I answre some points what you mentioned about.,
Japanese people are insensibly in sound.
At first, Shall I start with "the water drop from a Kakei"..Japanese
people are modest enough , and do not want to disturb harmony. The grase
Japanese never break nature. So the Japanese have some kind of the power
which recognizes such "voice " of nature sound.
Shall we keep our theme.
The problem is not on sounds but human voices. Sorry to say ,the Japanese
heardly listen other languages.(I do understand you are the special person
as the Japanese)
Why the Japanese have no idea to listen other languages? Since ew are liviing
isolated island? Or if is it a mental problem? or ---?
You say that Japanese people are not get use to other languages. I also
regard it as right. But we the Japanese study English atleast for 3 years
, usualy 6 years or more in Japan , so that English is our best friend
for long time. Then, we can speak no English. Why so?
There are problems in education. Many are think so, however I think there
is a problem before education issue.
Foreign languages. Easy? Or difficult?
On Japanese alphabet, I wrote on my book that " ta, chi, tsu, te,
to" is not collect but " ta, ti, tu, te, to" is the right.
You point it out that my thinking is based on the Western methodology which
analyzes phonetic sound with consonents and vowels. But there are no west
nor east on languages.
Japanese alphabet have its base on Indian sanskrit. It is not the Japanese
orisinal nor Western methodology. It was born in India and India is the
East.
The affair of "ta, ti, tu, te, to", this is written by japanese characters as " ".These letters are the orisin of troubles.japanese characters are the cyllabic
characters ,so Japanese alphabet is named Syllabary. As you know Sanskrit
characters are also syllabic. But Sanskrit has a lot of characters and
it can sift to consonant.
Sinhala letters are also the syllabic characters and those are easily changable to consonant characters from syllabic letters.
Why so?
There is reason that the Sinhalese may listen sounds of voice so carefully
than the Japanese.
There is one fact. The Sinhalese can speak Japanese immediately afte came to Japan . The Japanese hardly speak Sinhala even if he/she live in Sri Lanka for more than one year. I know many cases of these persons.
Sinhala is same as Japanese.
Shall we back to the "speaking".
As a fact, modern Japanese speaing language include some irregular sounds
for Japanese Syllabary. "t","th", "ng! are those
sounds and only the linguists know those affair.
Unfortunatly, you mentioned about no Sinhala language, then I can answre
nothing.
You live in sri lanka. I think it is easy for you to send your e-mail about
Sinhala language.
