Hibakusha appeal!@

The Hague Appeal for Peace Conference is held at the Hague, the Nethrlands, from May 11 to 15. Seventeen Hibakusha participate the conference as the members of the joint delegation of "Message of Hiroshima and Nagasaki" Network.

Hibakusha delegates appeal in the Global Forum as follows.

May 12(Wednesday): 13:30-15:00

Learning the Damage of the A-Bombing of Hiroshima & Nagasaki from Testimonies of Victims and a Film

Purpose: Testimony by Hiroshima and Nagasaki A-bomb survivors and victims of the inhumanity of nuclear weapons. Showing a film of the Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Location: Committee Room 8

May 13(Thursday): 13:30-15:00

Meeting of Delegates from Japan for Networking

Purpose: This workshop aims to gather various groups from Japan in order to build a network for future activities for the abolition of nuclear weapons.

Location: Van Ruysdael Room 4

May 14(Friday): 11:30-13:00

Building Cooperation among Anti-nuclear Movements for the 21st Century Free of Nuclear Weapons

Purpose: This workshop aims to build cooperation of peace movements around the world for the abolition of nuclear weapons, which have existed on earth for 54 years and are capable of destroying the human race.

Location: Committee Room 8

In addition, the A-Bomb and Humanity, photo panels, is on display at the Statenhal from May 11 to 15.
