Humans are exposed to all kinds of stimuli from the universe, but the human brain appears selectively to perceive only what is necessary and useful for survival. In other words, although the universe is filled with everything potentially, and humans have the potential to access all of that information, they choose to delete and recognize unnecessary information in order to safely carry out their daily lives in order to survive. The omnipresent mind theory holds that human consciousness and spirit are not contained solely in individual minds, but are omnipresent throughout the universe. Since it would be impossible to live everyday life with this omnipresent mind, unnecessary information and stimuli are selectively deleted by the brain. Depending on the brain, the "omnipresent mind" becomes the "partially present mind" that is limited to the individual. The six sense organs, including the mind, are the ones that actually play this role. Strictly speaking, perception through the sensory organs does not seem to be a matter of recognition, but rather of fitting a framework into the whole world through selection. Therefore, the world that we perceive through our perception is a limited world. Some people experience a kind of enlightenment when taking drugs, and this is apparently because the drug paralyzes brain function, allowing stimuli and information that were previously blocked to enter directly. While drugs can make you feel euphoric or elated, they can also make you feel uncomfortable or depressed, because your state of mind at the time affects how the drug works. If you take drugs with the feeling that heaven is coming, then heaven will appear, but if you take them with the feeling that hell is coming, then hell will appear. This suggests that heaven, hell, and the everyday world before our eyes are all merely interpretations of the whole world by the mind. In the world of quantum mechanics, quanta have two properties: particle and wave, but when they are observed they are determined to be in a particle state. When not observed they remain in a wave state. When quanta are observed and become particles, they appear to exist in specific places, but when they remain in wave form they appear to be spread infinitely throughout the universe. Before we were born, we were probably omnipresent that spread infinitely throughout the universe as vibrations. It seems likely that when we are born into this world and become individuals who are the objects of observation, we are determined as particles at a specific place and time. The afterlife, then, may be omnipresent, which extends infinitely throughout the entire universe before birth. Our true nature is an omnipresent consciousness that extends infinitely into space, but in order to survive in this world, our brains select and reject information, becoming specific individuals. The enlightenment is when someone who only knows himself as an individual comes to understand the omnipresent spirit which is his true nature. That omnipresent consciousness is always right in front of us, isn't it? |
