The garden was covered in deep snow, but our railway worked.

White scenery
The Bontenzaka station in January and February.
Snow bear standing under the rose arcade and the tunnel mountain covered by snow.
In late February, the depth of snow was about 3feet, so I removed the snow on the track.
The second photo shows Bontenzaka station in March and the third is in April.
Service in the snow
After one weeks hard work of human snowplow, the train ran in the trench snow line.
Almost days were fine, and blue sky was clear over the white garden.

Spring service
In the first April, Baldwin 0-4-2 ran in the garden after snow disappeared.
Kato 7ton, four cycle gasoline engine locomotive, was worked too.
No.28 loco Whitcomb worked everyday in this winter.
The last photo shows Bontenzaka station in the middle April, where green grass began to grow on the ground.
3/4inch scale Jack
In the previous A&B Report, I described about chassis, engine, rods, boiler of this model.
After steam-up test, the body and detail were built.
The first photo above shows smoke room, the second is smokestack and domes, the last is cabin.
The detail parts were built and set, such as lubricator, sand dome pipe, blower pipe, all are dummy of course.

Aster's Krauss
Aster Hobby's Krauss, G scale, 45mm gauge, built from new painted kit.

16mm scale Shay
Aster's Shay kit is '70s old product that I got in net auction some years ago.
The photos show kit box, two trucks, three cylinders engine, and the view after assembled boiler on the chassis.
This Shay is the third model for me, so the little remodeling was carried out around the cabin.
Making higher roof, Shay became the industrial light locomotive.

Small live steamers
The first and second photos show Finescale Engineering Peckett, 16mm scale, 32mm gauge, gas fired.
The third and fourth are Garden Railway Specialist Double Fairlie, not live steam, 16mm scale, 32mm gauge.

The first photo shows Cheddar Samson, 16mm scale, 32mm gauge, gas fired.
The second is Regner 994701, G scale, 45mm gauge, gas fired, missing one dome, 5ch radio controlled in regulator, reverse, whistle, coupler, drain.
The third is Regner Frieda, G scale, 45mm gauge, gas fired. The last shows Regner Wilma, Vincent and Lumber Jack.

3.5inch gauge Hornby Rocket, gas fired live steam model, ran with coach on the wood deck.
Remodeling Accucraft Dora
Accucraft Dora is a very good model, but I feel the boiler is too high.
So, I remodeled to make the boiler low in 11mm, as shown the first and second photos.
The front wall of cabin and some detail parts were built.
The fourth photo shows the extension reverse lever for easy operation.
The cabin and side tank were repainted green, and window frame was glued.
It became to British looking.
I found the same remodeling article by P. Horovitz in recent magazine of 'Steam in the Garden.'

Stationmaster and Assistant stationmaster
The first photo is the picture of Assistant stationmaster by my wife.
The second is the brothers pose, but Stationmaster forgot to remove his apron for breakfast.
The third is the brothers sleep, but Stationmaster forgot to remove his apron for dinner.
The first photo show the playing sled on hardened snow.
The second is Assistant stationmaster driving locomotive.
The last is the first water playing in this year.
