New line and track construction

Additional new line construction started in May.

In the center of the garden the new track was set in the lawn.

In the lower portion the track was lifted by stones before heaping up soil.

To reduce the heaping soil, the two steel girder bridges were built.
The second photo shows the bank after heaping soil, and the third is test run by Whitcomb.
In last photo, the river under the bridges can be seen.

This truss bridge was built in Bentengaoka Line over ten years ago, so it is the historical heritage for our Akubi L.R..
The steel members were repainted after scouring the rust off.
The third and forth photos show the pier construction with concrete blocks and bricks.

The width of the bridge is 90cm and the span is 184cm. The width was increased from 60cm in previous site for large cars herein.
The second is completed bridge and the third shows the river by laying white blue gravel like as a Japanese dry landscape garden.

Stationmaster and Assistant stationmaster

Assistant stationmaster Hecto likes riding on train. He rides every day as shown in figure.
But Stationmaster Pascal is a little negative to riding.
The third photo shows them under the table in the cafe. Pascal is looking positive there.

Stationmaster pascal became 8 years old at 22nd June, but he had no comment about this.
Assistant stationmaster Hecto is very clever and gentle, but a little timidity in comparison with his older brother.
