Ordinary service

The first photo shows Kato 7ton, and the second is Jack, both were in May.
The third shows AB10 & AB20 double-header train, and the fourth is Railbus in June.


Kato 7ton train works everyday to inspect the rail condition. The garden became thick forest in June.


There is the bright play of sunlight through the trees in the garden.


Maintenance of Bontenzaka station

The first photo shows the April construction around Bontenzaka sattion. The second shows brick tile pasted on the wall for image of signal box.
The third photo shows the blue-gray painted roof and the fourth is cream painted wall.


Making the lawn front of the station house and opposite side of the track, and setting the signs "SLOW" and "BEWARE OF TRAIN."


Expansion of wood deck

For expansion of the wood deck the construction was carried out in April to May.


The area of the wood deck increased to three times, and are enough for barbecue party on it.


Gardening

Red tulips at the side of Stationmaster house, yellow arcade on the main line,
orange tulips line on outside of sunroom, and many flowers covered on spring garden.


In June, the leaves of tree began to shut out the sky, so almost garden became in the shade.
The third photo shows Assistant stationmaster on the crossing and the flowers of clematis on yellow arcade.


Red and blue salvias planted in the yard. Stationmaster and Assistant stationmaster on the green lawn.


Construction of platform

On the side of new wood deck, the platform was built with bricks, wood sleepers, tiles, and glass blocks.


5inch Baldwin B1 rear tank

For the hard garden works, little progress has been made with the project of 5inch Baldwin in this three months.
The photos show the headlights built with aromatherapy candle cases and scratchbuilt brass parts.


Experimental high-speed car mark II

The experimental high-speed car was built again by calculating the limit condition of the weight, the center of gravity and the centrifugal force.

Small locomotives

The first photo shows Ivor the Engine built from Locoline's cardboard kit, that run by motor and battery.
The second shows two steam trams. Left is Cheddar's live steam model and right is Garden Railway Specialist's electrical model.
The third is mysterious steam tram model that is live steam with Steamlines Osmotor and gas fired.

The first photo shows Accucraft's new model, Isle of Man Peveril 2-4-0, gas fired, 45mm gauge.
The second is Merlin Locomotive Works Monarch 0-4-0 saddle tank, gas fired, 45mm gauge.
The third is Berkeley Locomotive Works Cricket 0-4-0, single cylinder piston valve engine, gear drive, gas fired, 45mm gauge.
The last is Maxwell Hemmens Porter 0-4-0 saddle tank, gas fired, 45mm gauge.

Big railcar

Using powered well wagon, that worked as Rotary Snowplow in this winter, big railcar body was built with plywood and steel angles.


The first photo shows the lighting test, and the second is the observatory on the roof.


This railcar was designed for ride in. The human driver, that is I, sits on the inside car floor and looks from the observatory.
Size; about 1800mm long, 520mm wide, 600mm high to roof, and 800mm high to observatory top from rail.
This is No.26 loco of Akubi Lightweight Railway, and biggest one in the history of Akubi L.R.


Stationmaster and Assistant stationmaster

Stationmaster and Assistant stationmaster are both vigorously inspect in the garden.
They hope to play with water. So everyday water play time is filled with their excitement.

The first photo shows two wearing Japanese towel for cooler of ice in it.
The second and third photos are Assistant stationmaster ride on the trailer car of 5inch train. He is very good passenger.


Lively early summer

The parapet of wood deck is designed to be low for their standing posture.
They pose in front of Bentenzaka station house.

Next A&B report would be in October. We are enjoying in cool summer that is best season.
