Working AB20

Little live steamers


Aileen with wagons on new 45mm gauge line, and Charles on dual gauge track in the west garden


New loco has come! It is Roundhouse Silver Lady 0-6-0, a good proportion narrow gauge locomotive.


This loco can switch the exhaust to smokestack or drain cock under the cylinder by RC servomotor.

No.8 loco Sapphire


Driving Sapphire with Wales coal on the north wood deck line and stone pavement track in the south garden


The way of Ajax


New and old water gauges, and setting new one on back plate.


And new pressure gauge set, and steam-up test again


After nice running, a drain cock broke by touching the rail because of little clearance


Repairing the drain cock, and trying steam-up again next day


Ajax ran very good giving me a feeling of first satisfaction.

Building shed


In the back of the turntable in Garage station, the construction of new structure started.


After building the frame and the roof, the paint work was carried out in the porch, and setting the site.

The Railway Museum


Visiting to the Railway Museum in Saitama city, which has opened in this year


Old locomotives and tram cars and coaches in big hall, and a model of old type snowplow most interested me

Aluminium signal


New signal wings were built with aluminium for exchanging an old wooden ones


Completed signal wings after painting, and setting the signal pole in the site


Signal bridge


More four signal wings were built with aluminium for signal bridge in Garage station


Completed signal bridge after painting, and AB20 train in No.1 line under the bridge


Stationmaster


Stationmaster Pascal inspecting the shed construction, and a trial project of Stationmaster figure of piggy bank as one of the A&B goods


In the end of 2007


I think that 2007 was a very good year for my garden railway, and hope next year too.
