Workshop part 2


Cab posts are 10mm aluminum angles, smokestack is vinyl toy bat for children.


Roof beams are plywood, headlight is a ladle for kitchen, door of smokeroom is a lid of pan.


This locomotive was started to build imaging a Decauville small loco in industrial scene.


Ordinary service


AB20 & AB10 double-header train stopping in Rose station and running over the brick arch bridge in west garden

Workshop part 3


The batteries in the boiler and side tank, LGB sound unit set in backplate of boiler, roof is made of 0.5mm thickness stainless board


The headlight cover is made with cutting PET bottle, the handle and the hinge of smokeroom door is handmade. The construction will continue in some months.

Special open day


In Sunday of 23, April, A&B special open day was carried out.


Mr.Hoshino's Bassett-Lowke tank (1925, clockwork), and Mr. Inoue's Bing live steam loco (1902) on 45mm gauge track


Mr. Sugiura's electric locos of 5inches gauge (1/8.4 scale)


Bing loco running on endless track with steam power, and Mr. Sato's small live steams on the table (mentioned later)


Mr. Kiuchi's Shay in steam-up on the sidetrack of the garage station


The Shay on the main line of the west garden, and Mr. and Mrs. Kiuchi driving on it.

Mr. Sato's arts


Mr. Sato who is a top live steam builder preparing his 45mm gauge Kyosan 0-4-0 loco.


This scratchbuilt model is coal firing live steam.


It was built by Mr. Sato in about thirty years ago. He is a watchmaker, so his model is very accuracy too as shown in this photograph.

This HO scale C62 is live steam of gas firing, which is built by Mr. Sato in about thirty years ago too (unbelievable ! ).

Lady Madcap in first run


After restoration, My Lady Madcap tested to first steam-up in this openday.


The steam-up on examination by Japanese top livesteamers ( Mr. Hoshino, Mr . Inoue, Mr . Sato, Mr . Sugiura) .


It moves and runs ! Mr. Hoshino starting Lady Madcap on the main line
