The Gonbad-e Qâbûs (Tomb Tower of Qâbûs), near Gorgân, 1006/7
It is an enormous but pure geometrical slender object 51 meters high,
entirely made of brick, based on a decagonal star-shaped plan.
Its design is incredibly modern for that of a thousand years ago.�@
Having braved the elements for ten centuries,
it must be one of the best architectural pieces in Iran.
