There is a small pretty pottery a little walk from Windermere station.
　John Kershaw is the proprietor of the pottery. He looks friendtly and warmhearted, doesn't he? I think all his products have his personality, in other words, alll his product have a warm atmosphere. He said that he had trained at Manchester College of Art and set up in Windermere in 1972.
　The workshop's opening hours are 9:30〜17:30 from Monday to Saturday. John works on his own, so he sometimes has to be closed. If you want to visit him, especially from a distance, he asks you to telephone him in advance.

　These potteries are his products which I bought. Akiko, my friend, likes the products which have natural clay tones, but I bought ones like these. I use them for displaying dried flowers.
