Multiple Panes for XHTML

Summary

"Multiple Panes for XHTML" gives two or three panes aligned horizontally or vertically side by side to a single XHTML document. It shows you different parts of a single document at a glance, or provides you different views of a single document.

It helps you to keep your document consistent, or helpful for a strategic review.

How to use

Download and Install

1. Uninstall the previous version. Note that in the previous versions, there was a file named "MultiplePanes.resource" which is the same name for the folder "MultiplePanes.resource" for this version.
2. Download the archive file of Mutiple Panes for XHTML: MultiplePanes-0.9.1-20070530.zip
3. Put the extracted files under "scripts" folder located in the folder where xfy Basic Edition is installed.
   • MultiplePanes.xvcd
   • MultiplePanes.resource (folder)

Uninstall

 Remove those file and folder from "scripts" folder:

Operation

• Open an XHTML document, and change the vocabulary component to "Multiple Panes"
• From "Multiple Panes" menu, you can change the direction and the number of the panes.
  • Change the direction.
  • Change the number of the panes.
  • Set the width of the frames to be equal.
• When "Multiple Panes" menu is lost:,  and select Components tab Slide operations:
  • Open Utilities Area
  • Select Components tab
  • Select "Multiple Panes" component
    
  • Then "Multiple Panes" menu comes back.
